Tables meet in-person. An online platform exists for those members who do not reside near a table or who wish to experience more engagement in the RT global community.
At least once a month for roughly two hours. The Round Table has a vacation period of July and August.
The Order of the Knights of the Round Table is not affiliated with any particular religion. Instead, the organization seeks to promote the type of spirituality specific to each member and strives to be a co-worker in the member's moral and spiritual education, in accordance with the specific spiritual and/or religious beliefs of the youth’s upbringing.
Yes! Parents/legal guardians are not only allowed to participate but encouraged to have an active engagement with their child in the Round Table. Parents/legal guardians will always have full access to their child during any meeting of the Round Table, whether in-person or online.
In-person gatherings of the Round Table consist of a ceremony-based meeting and medieval activities (such as kid-friendly jousting, swordplay, building castles, shields, and trebuchets). Virtual meetings are created for role- playing the various stories of King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table. In both physical and online meetings, all members should wear their uniform.
In order to advance to the next rank, a member must meet both the age qualification and earn the required number of Shields of Achievement.
Page, Companion, Squire, and Knight. All admissions are at the rank of Page, but advancement can be accelerated if the member is older than 10 years of age.
Members are primarily addressed by their rank, by the title "Fellow".
Yes. Parents and legal guardians can become members of the Round Table. Typically adults are admitted with their child at the child’s rank.
