Each Table meets at least once a month and typically hosts a series of creative adventures and activities called "Quests" which instruct its members, known as Fellows, in how to conduct a life of honor, chivalry, service, and devotion. Quests may involve period-relevant (medieval) arts and crafts, martial arts, role-playing games, singing, and service activities. The purpose of each Quest is to inspire and motivate each member to discover their purpose and live a life of chivalry and service.
Additionally, Quests may aid our members in acquiring Shields of Achievement which promote rank advancement. Shields of Achievement are part of the unique morality-based education facilitated by the Order of the Knights of the Round Table. Each Shield represents tasks or goals which, when accomplished, allow the members to advance in rank, from Page to Companion, from Companion to Squire, and from Squire to Knight. There are three types of Shields of Achievement: Devotion, Artisan, and Character. There are fifteen possible Shields of Achievement in each rank of the Round Table, five in each of the three categories. To advance to the next rank, a member must achieve twelve out of these fifteen shields corresponding to the rank they are in. If they achieve all fifteen, they will be granted a special distinction.
